How do I buy gold?
When you're ready to order, please call us in order to receive the current price on the bullion you wish to purchase. If you would like to make an immediate purchase, we can lock in the price upon receipt of bank-wired funds.
When you purchase bullion-related items from us, final pricing will be determined after we receive cleared funds from you. For payment, we again accept bank wires, with which your funds will be cleared immediately upon our receipt. We also accept cashier’s checks and money orders drawn off a bank. Payments made in the latter two forms must be allowed 15 business days to clear.
Our purchase and payment policy is unfortunately influenced by two all-too-common occurrences in the coin business: scams and canceled orders. For more information on why we have to consider dealing with these issues, please click here.
Once we receive cleared payment, we will go into the wholesale market for the bullion you are ordering, and we will determine a price. In most cases, we will sell to you at only 3%-4% above the wholesale price that we have to pay for the bullion. This is a profit margin that we can live with, and one which we feel is very favorable to you, the buyer. We’re not out to make a killing on any of our deals. Our goal is to provide bullion at a highly competitive price, and we want to gain repeat business as a result of that. Once we have finalized the purchase, you may expect delivery of your bullion within 2-4 weeks.
There is no return privilege with bullion coins or bars, due to tight margins on these items. All bullion sales are final. In most cases, however, we would re-purchase the bullion from you at the current market price.
