Instructions for Selling Your Items to Us
1. For most purchases, you may have your choice of payment method: 1) a fast, cashable check, or 2) by Paypal. For purchases over $25,000 we will pay by express mail check. We realize that cash flow is the name of the game, and we will pay you as quickly as we can process your items. Our processing time is 1-7 days after receipt. We realize that we are very competitive with our processing time, compared to other dealers.
2. All shipments must be confirmed by e-mail or by telephone before they are sent to us. Also, please include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, so that we may properly identify you. Please include a phone number where we may reach you during business hours.
3. Time-sensitive deals must be postmarked according to our confirmation agreement, or we reserve the right to cancel the deal at our discretion.
4. Please send shipments to:
St. Eligius Co.
PO Box 213
West Farmington, ME 04992
If you ship by UPS or Fedex, please e-mail us for shipping instructions.
5. Our base prices for determining a lock-in will be the Kitco bid prices for gold, silver and other precious metals on the day we receive your bullion items in the mail. If our offer is unsatisfactory, we will gladly return your items free of charge.
6. We do not pay shipping costs when we buy coins and bullion, as we pay shipping costs when we sell. We can't pay shipping on both ends of a deal, since we operate with such tight profit margins.
7. When mailing items to us, please make sure the items are securely packaged, and insured for the amount at which you value them. Before you ship, check with the Post Office regarding insurance, because registered mail is less expensive than standard insured mail for larger dollar amounts. Registered mail has more stringent packaging requirements than standard mail, so check with the post office before preparing a registered package. For large dollar amounts, it is worth the extra effort to ship by registered mail, for the sake of the money you would save compared to standard mail.
We will not be responsible for losses related to uninsured packages that are sent to us. We will also not be responsible for packages that have no return address or any other identification as to who sent them to us.
We want you to know that we greatly appreciate your selling your coins and bullion to us. Thanks for your business!
